Maitland

Maitland is a city situated in the Lower Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia. It is located in the heart of the town, surrounded by heritage buildings. The cultured society was one of three that originally arose generally around the same time. The city expanded rapidly due to its proximity to the Hunter River. Today, Maitland is the centre of the city, enclosed by lush greenery and vintage infrastructure. The city annually holds 5 events a year that are appealing to all ages making it a fun filled city to families and individuals. Located within a 35 minute drive is the city of Newcastle, where the renowned Newcastle beach is located.
