Maitland is a city situated in the Lower Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia. It is located in the heart of the town, surrounded by heritage buildings. The cultured society was one of three that originally arose generally around the same time. The city expanded rapidly due to its proximity to the Hunter River.
